WELCOME TO YAYASAN KEBAJIKAN SURIA KAWASAN PERMAS JOHORE BAHRU HOMEPAGE.
First of all, let me introduce ourselves with "Selamat Datang" (Bahasa Malaysia or Malaysian language) for "Welcome".
"Yayasan" is Foundation, "Kebajikan" is Welfare, "Suria" is Solar, "Permas" is a Housing Estate in Johore Bahru, Johor. Johore Bahru is the State capital of Johor in Malaysia.Therefore, loosely translated, we are SOLAR WELFARE FOUNDATION, PERMAS ESTATE, JOHORE BAHRU .
Our Foundation was approved by the Registrar of Societies(ROS) under the Malaysian Government's Ministry of Home Affairs on 14th Sept 2012.
Even though we are an infant(barely 3 years old officially), we brought along with us some 20 years of experience helping the poor & marginalized before our birth; Karma if you may want to call it. Given a chance, watch us grow for we are treading on "a road less travelled", venturing into territories where few others dared to go. It is common that Foundations are set up by big Multinationals & Public-listed Companies as they have the means to do so. However, we (as a group of individuals) have the courage and conviction to spearhead our own initiatives in setting up a Foundation by "doing little things in small ways with love".
We hope that you can spare a few moments of your precious time to take a tour of our history, charity activities and responsibilities to our contributors.
When you have completed visiting us, we hope that you will be touched and moved to contribute to YAYASAN KEBAJIKAN SURIA KAWASAN PERMAS JOHOR BAHRU as a member either financially, volunteering as well as helping us to expand our network LOCALLY and GLOBALLY.
